gotta say, trying to decipher firmament as someone who couldn't play horticultural hell/estival last year is 10x more difficult and it's an odd choice that a big chunk of context for it is hidden behind year old content that newer players have absolutely zero access to right now

i don't have a Shred of context for the starved men, the starved war, stalactites falling or not falling, it's all very ??????? in an already confusing story

#i've looked into it a little myself so i'm not asking for an explanation (but thank you to anyone who was gonna give one!)#but i've looked into it outside of the game bc i'm hyperfixating hard enough to run a whole FL blog about it #like obviously basing content on older events is fine and great i love callbacks i love things feeling linked #but that content is unplayable if you weren't playing specifically in summer 2023 #i guess the solution is put it in the waswood? idk #i'm not drawing conclusions til we see more of firmament but it is frustrating #fredspeaks
